Pertama download filenya di ftp://ftp.hpl.hp.com/pub/httperf/ silakan pilih versi yang akan anda gunakan.

wget ftp://ftp.hpl.hp.com/pub/httperf/httperf-0.9.0.tar.gz
tar -xvzf httperf-0.9.0.tar.gz
./configure
make
make install

Namun jik anda menemui error karena gcc compiler belum di install–berikut contohnya–

berikut cara menginstall gcc di debian lenny:

apt-get install make gcc

Setelah selesai instalasi gcc, silakan ulangi lagi mulai ./configure dan seterusnya.

Untuk menggunakan httperf ini cukup mudah ( jika domain yang saya tes htpp://direktori.kreatif.web.id) ketik

httperf –server=direktori.kreatif.web.id

maka akan keluar hasil:

httperf –client=0/1 –server=direktori.kreatif.web.id –port=80 –uri=/ –send-buffer=4096 –recv-buffer=16384 –num-conns=1 –num-calls=1
